With regards to accommodation, it obviously depends highly on what kinds of activities and locations you would like to experience during your stay in the great south east of Queensland. As it has already been mentioned in the "About Brisbane" section, AMYC coincides with Schoolies, so there will be popular areas and associated accommodation which will be busy or booked out. As such, it might be advisable to stay within the greater Brisbane area and the following information will feature predominantly options close to the Brisbane CBD.

Around the CBD area, the suburb which is the most popular ‘party’ suburb is Fortitude Valley, where a great deal of Brisbane’s not-so-family-friendly nightlife occurs. When booking accommodation, you might want to reconsider if averse to being exposed to these influences.
