Chinese speaker: Rev. Yuan Zhi Ming

Rev. Yuan Zhi Ming

Rev. Yuan Zhi Ming was born in 1955. He spent 10 years in the People's Liberation Army as a Marxist-Leninist doctrine officer, but he was labelled by the Chinese government as an inciter of the Tiananmen incident. He was then forced into exile overseas.

Later, he became a visiting scholar at Princeton University and came to know Christ the following year and was baptised. He is one of several former Communist party members from the Tiananmen demonstration who later became Christians.

He is an acclaimed evangelist amongst Chinese circles and is invited to preach in many evangelist meetings all over North America and the world, because many mainland Chinese can identify with his experiences. Through his sermons, the Holy Spirit moves thousands to accept Christ each year.
